Description

My Beverage Consumption

I love coffee and tea and make myself a cup almost everyday. In addition to that I got myself a coffee subscription at Pret Coffee so my beverage consumptiopn has increased over the past week. So I tracked my consumption of the beverages I usually consume at Pret in addition to what I make myself at home.

Design Process

The Mapping

• 1.Started by making a list of all the commonly consumed drinks
• 2. created different shapes with different colours mapping it to the beverage
• 3. started coding each beverage as a funcion shape and entered the data over the week as an array for each day

Approach

• 1. printed each separate function accross the canvas with incremental colums through the week
• 2. Added a black circle to denote the lack of consumption of the beverage that day
• 3. used for loops to print the shapes accross the canvas according to my consumptoon forming a patten

• Reflection

  There are so many ways we can creatively view and represent data. Art can have meaning and representation and give emotional value to a data set.
